Needs From: Volunteer Onslow

Workshop Instructors provide information on financial planning to help expectant parents make decisions on necessary purchases, resource information, and other tips that can assist keeping finances in check.

Budget for Baby Assistants maintain the administrative tools necessary for the workshop to function; material preparation, registration of clients, etc. Excellent communication, computer/office equipment use, and works well in a group setting are desired.

Volunteers do need DOD vehicle decals/base access to volunteer with NMCRS Camp Lejeune. 

Interview clients to determine financial/non-financial needs. Personalized budgets are completed one-on-one counseling, resource/referral information. Excellent customer service, communication, and social service principle skills desired.

All training is provided. Depending on volunteer availability, the training to be able to perform casework on own could take 3-6 months.

Volunteers do need DOD vehicle decals/base access to volunteer with NMCRS Camp Lejeune. 

First contact with the clients; answering telephones, processing clients for emergency & non-emergency financial assistance. Schedules appointments, advise clients on appointment documentation, registers budget for baby workshop clients. Excellent customer service, communication, and multi-tasking skills desired.

Currently, we are in need of Friday afternoon volunteers specifically. All training is provided.
