Needs From: Volunteer Onslow

Help Dragonfly Dog Park and Nature Trails in Maysville prepare 2 miles of nature trails for opening to birders and dog walkers. We've got small trees & vines to clear and stack up and we do this most mornings beginning at 8 am to around 1 (to enjoy the coolest hours of the day)  This is pleasant, naturally socially-distanced volunteering for individuals, small groups and large groups, alike, in a very pretty location...and often our goats come out to help! Help Safe Harbor Farm in Maysville prepare 2 miles of nature trails (and a dog park) for opening to the dog-walking public. Volunteers clear small trees & vines and help with other outdoor tasks 7 days a week, given good weather. Come for 3-4 hours, or come for the day. Consider signing up as a regular volunteer! This is pleasant work for solo volunteers and groups, alike, in a pretty location, and it lends itself naturally to "social distancing." Call Jan at 252 422 0943 to schedule.
