Volunteers will be helping Christmas Cheer Clients provide items for their children and families. Volunteers will be required to wear masks and to social distance when possible. Volunteers may come in close proximity to Christmas Cheer clients as they are assisting them. Masks and sanitizing systems will be readily available at the Christmas Cheer Center.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, no food will be provided for the volunteers, and we encourage you to bring your own food, snacks and drinks. We strongly suggest you bring things that do not require heating or cooking.
Please come to 1210 Hargett St a few minutes before your shift to get checked in and given instructions. We will not be contacting you ahead of time. Just show up for your shift. You are allowed to sign up for more than 1 shift.
This is a special year, and your assistance is needed. A priority will be given for volunteer positions to students seeking the Sponsors for Academic Talent scholarships. Persons in high school and older, and who are not associated with any clients, nor a client themselves, of the Christmas Cheer program are welcome.
