Who We Are
The North Carolina Aquarium seeks to educate visitors about aquatic animals and their habitats and about conservation and protection of these animals. The Aquarium does this my offering exhibits, programs, and hands-on learning experiences for visitors of all ages.
The daily program offerings include the "Live Dive", a Creature Feature, feeding programs and, in the summer, the live bird show, "Winging-It: Birds in Flight".
Hands-on learning and exciting entertainment opportunites make the North Carolina Aquarium a great place to visit and to volunteer.
What We Do
The mission of the North Carolina Aquarium is to inspire appreciation and conservation of North Carolina's aquatic environments.
