Who We Are
The Swansboro UMC Disaster Center is staffed by employees of the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church to host and oversee volunteers who repair disaster-damaged homes for persons with unmet needs.
What We Do
The disaster response arm of the NC United Methodist Church that responds to disasters by first sending trained volunteers to tarp roofs, clean up debris, and clean out and treat flooded homes for mold. After the initial response, rebuilding volunteers under the supervision of disaster staff repair damaged homes.
