JACKSONVILLE JAYCEE FOUNDATION, INC.

The only activity we participate in is co-sponsoring the Onslow County Fair along with the American Legion.

Our job at the fair is two fold:  First, the Foundation members serve on the Board of Directors for the Onslow County Fair Association.  Second, while the fair is going on, we direct the traffic onto and off the fairgrounds.

We will continue making charitable donations as the Jacksonville Jaycees have done before.

The Jacksonville Jaycee Foundation, Inc.(hereafter “the Foundation) is a Foundation organized as the successor to The Jacksonville Jaycees, Inc.(Jaycees).  The Foundation was organized to continue the Jaycees obligation as a partner with the local American Legion chapter in sponsoring the Onslow County Fair in order to continually benefit various charitable organizations, to wit:  PEERS of Jacksonville, NC, the Onslow Women’s Center, the USO of Jacksonville, NC, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, Project Graduation, the Wounded Warriors, organizations that benefit cystic fibrosis, the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center, the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, and The North Carolina Boys and Girls Home, Inc.  The Foundation also contemplates the conduct of fundraising activities for the benefit of needy children, families, and individuals, not necessarily via distribution to any charitable organization.
