BOLD of Jacksonville

Our major event is the Riverwalk Palooza, on September 18-19 in Riverwalk Park.  We are expecting over 8,000 attendees for this year's festivities - come join the fun!

Our Mission is to promote the preservation of the commercial and residential structures in the downtown Jacksonville and to aid in the enhancement of the physical and cultural elements of the area; to educate the community about the historic role of downtown Jacksonville and of the physical and cultural attributes that exist there; to lessen the burden of local government through beautification, revitalization and enhancement of the physical appearance and economic vitality of the downtown area; and in promoting cooperation between City government, County government, the business community, and the citizens of Jacksonville and Onslow County, North Carolina.
