Who We Are

To support, encourage and develop the personal and professional resiliency of Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) families, whilst strengthening and defining a sense of culture and unity within the MARSOC community.

Raising Raiders is a grassroots charity founded and managed by spouses of MARSOC Marines and Sailors. Raising Raiders represents a legitimate, long term solution to organize and facilitate fundraising efforts in support of the MARSOC community in areas relative to the families.

We provide enrichment and empowerment opportunities for children and family members of MARSOC Marines and Sailors, through the Raising Raiders Initiative.  As well as developing and strengthening the MARSOC community through our other programs.

We aim to be leaders and advocates in the Special Operations community in the areas of PTSD and TBI awareness as well as continuing to bring public attention to military spousal caregivers  advocating their needs and bringing awarness to this important issue.

What We Do

Marine Special Operations families face a 14 month deployment rotation.  Deployments inherently make life more challenging.  Our programs and The Initiative are designed specifically to allieviate some of the stressors of this lifestyle.  To help our families remain successful despite their challenging lifestyle. We offer financial assistance to MARSOC families to help with a wide variety of challenges that they may face, as well as to assist them in reaching their personal goals.
