Cardinal Hospice Care

When curative care is no longer an option, hospice is designed to meet the needs of the whole person: treating mind, body, and spirit while simultaneously supporting the family. While serving Jacksonville, New Bern, Kinston, Smithfield, and the surrounding areas, we work together with the patient and family for their senior care in our nursing home. We design and implement a plan of care specific to the diagnosis— focusing on quality of life with the patient’s wishes as our priority. Furthermore, hospice and senior care does not end with the patient’s death; it can continue with bereavement counseling for the family approximately one year after a loved one passes.
