Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission

We work with tournaments and events on promotion, marketing, hotel procurement, facility negotiations, sponsorships, timelines, guides to hosting an event, etc. Once the event takes place, we work with event organizers to track the data so we can provide to the City and County the economic impact of the event.

We are a 501-c(3) nonprofit that works to bring in economic impact and increase quality of life through sports in Jacksonville and Onslow County. The JOSC works at the direction of it's 12 board members and has 2 full time staff members for the day to day operations of the commission. We are funded by the City of Jacksonville Tourism Development Authority, the Onslow County Tourism Fund and businesses throughout Onslow County.
