OCPL Summer Reading Kickoff

June 10th, 2023  from 9am-11am Onslow Literacy Council will be participating in the OCPL Reading Kickoff Event. This will be a fun, family-oriented event held at Onslow Pines Park. We are still looking for volunteers to help spread the word about the OLC mission to improve adult literacy in Onslow County. We have shifts from 8am-10am and 10am-12pm. Each shift includes setup and breakdown respectively. During the event we will be handing out free books for adults and children as well as OLC informational pamphlets. Please try wearing yellow which stands for happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, and joy.
