AVID Tutorials are conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15am - 10:30am with our 9th-12th grade AVID students. The Tutorial Process is set-up in such a way that you do not need to be an expert in any single subject area since it is the role of the tutor to ask questions that help the students use their resources to come to their own answer for the question. We need AVID Tutors for the following shifts:
Every Tuesday and Thursday:
- 7:15 - 8:00am
- 8:00 - 8:45am
- 8:50 - 9:35am
- 9:35 - 10:20am
There is a training session for Tutors that will take place on Saturday, August 22nd from 8am-4pm. If you are interested but cannot make that training date, please let me know.
There are also limited paid positions available for current college students and those with college degrees.
